The trace gas mix comprises of 5% hydrogen and 95% nitrogen (oxygen free) to make a non-flammable, non-toxic gas which, when used with specialist hydrogen detection equipment can search for minute leaks. This process is up to 100 times more sensitive than common leak detection methods.
