About Helium - He
Helium makes up less than 1% of the Earth's atmosphere. It is mainly used for balloon inflation and as a shielding gas for welding.
History of Helium - He
Helium was discovered on August 18th, 1868 by French astronomer Jules Janssen and by British scientist Norman Lockyer on the 20th October 1868. They are both credited with this achievement.
