Handy Gas was started by Mr Handy in Swindon, Wiltshire just across the road from where Camping Gas Ltd started.

In 2006 Handy Gas was taken over by BP. In 2012 it was then sold to DCC who then rebranded as Mac Gas for a short time before rebranding again as FLOGAS.
