History of Dulux
In 1931 the Brand Dulux was launched by the Naylors in conjunction with H.H. Morgan. ICI Paints Ltd and Dupont both used the brand name.

There is some controversy over the origin of brand name Dulux. It was either a combination of DuPont + luxury or durable + luxury.
